Support Prostate Cancer UK at your concerts this year

Whether it's Christmas carols or a spring concert, we're here to help your fundraiser hit all the right notes. As your nominated charity we can offer:

  • Pin badges and wristbands to wear with pride during your performances, so everyone knows that you’re singing to support men affected by prostate cancer.
  • Awareness leaflets and posters to hand out to choir members and audiences at events. Empowering more men to check their risk of prostate cancer and start lifesaving conversations with their GP.
  • Ongoing support and guidance from our dedicated team on ways to fundraise and maximise your impact.

Register your event

Not part of a choir?

No problem – get a group of friends together or people from your local community and sing. It’s a great way to socialise and meet new people.

There are loads of ways you can support us through singing and music:

  • Karaoke night at your local pub
  • Singing in a supermarket or local station
  • Singing in your workplace or at school
  • Get your old band back together for a gig

Getting prepped for the big event

You sort out the rehearsals and we'll help with the fundraising bit. Check out our checklist to make sure you’ve got everything covered:

Gather a team to help bring the choir or singers together, organise the performance, and to support with rehearsals.

Book a venue - whether it’s the Royal Albert Hall or your local pub, it’s important to check whether you need any licences for your performance. Take a look at our guide to putting on an event to make sure you're following rules and regulations on gathering people together. Don’t forget to mention that the event is for charity - you might get a discount on venue hire.

Promote your event on social media and in your local community. Download our supporting logo to add to posters, programmes and tickets or email us for support with sharing your story in your local paper. Make your concert is the talk of the town and shout about how it’ll be helping support men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Set up a JustGiving fundraising page. It's a great way to collect donations online.

Sell your tickets in advance to grow your crowd. Email us for guidance on the best way to sell your tickets.

Take your fundraising up an octave by including a raffle or auction on the night and check out our top tips to make sure it’s as successful as possible.You could sell our pin badges to raise even more lifesaving funds for the men affected by prostate cancer.

Look the part by encouraging singers to wear one of our pin badges, wristbands or t-shirts. You can download our material order form to order what you need or email us and we’ll make sure it’s all delivered in time for your event.

Tot up your total and when you’re ready, send us the money you've raised from your event by heading to our paying money in page.

Say thank you to everyone who helped with the event and the attendees. Update them on how much was raised, so they know how important their role was in supporting men. and their families affected by prostate cancer.
