This June, thousands of people across the country will be marching for men - walking together to raise the funding we need to stop prostate cancer being a killer. We want you to sign up to join us at Colwick Country Park to represent Nottingham and the Midlands and take on either the short, medium or long walk.
The short route is fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs – however due to the nature of the ground, if it has been a wet summer this may be subject to change.
Round up your loved ones and register now to help stop prostate cancer being a killer.
If your fundraising pack hasn't arrived yet, don't worry - find us on the day, and we'll sort you out with a shirt and dedication!
Directions: We're starting near the main car park at the top of the west lake in Colwick Country park. The main entrance to the park is off Mile End Road, Colwick Village, on River Road, with another car park at the end of Racecourse road, past Nottingham Racecourse and Colwick Hall Hotel. Each of these entrances has public parking, though there is a barrier charge (£2 per vehicle) should you wish to park past the fishing lodge at River Road. The site is also serviced by public transport links, please visit the Nottingham City Transport website for further details.
How to pay in your money: If you have a JustGiving page, the money comes straight to us. You can also donate online via our site, or send a cheque with our monies return form. For help and information, call our supporter care team on 0800 082 1616.
I took part in last year’s March for Men in London, I’m planning to do it again this year too, and it was a wonderful day. Not only was the weather great but there was a sense of camaraderie, the event brought everybody together. It was like being at a social club where everyone had a story to tell and knowledge to share.
