26 miles. 15 clubs. 4 routes. 1 cause.

Next Sunday, July 22nd hundreds of football fans will march to the arch to help stop prostate cancer being a killer. It’s a disease killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK - that’s two deaths in every football match. Our marchers will follow in Jeff Stelling's footsteps, and march to Wembley with the football family to raise money to help beat prostate cancer.

What’s happening when?

Registration will be at 6.45am at each departure club. Allow time to park up and get to the registration point which will be signposted and marshalled. For more detailed information on start locations and parking, see specific routes below.
Once all participants have registered, there will be a short safety briefing before the walk begins. The walks will all set off at 7.30am prompt.

Try not to bring any more kit that you will require for the walk.  We can carry a small bag for you in the support van which will be made available to you at the finish. If you wish to leave a bag in the van, make sure it is clearly labelled and hand it to us when you register. Bags are left at your own risk, so do not leave valuables. Bags will not be able to be left at the start location as the venue may be closed on your return.

Food during the day

Breakfast will be provided for registered walkers however we would advise that you see this as an additional breakfast and eat before arriving at registration. It is key that you have taken on board enough calories according to your own needs.

Lunch will be provided as well as the end-of-walk meal at Wembley. Please bring your own snacks to make sure you have plenty of nutrition for your long day. We will not be providing water bottles so please ensure you bring your own along which you can re-fill throughout the day.

What should I bring?

  • Ensure you have pre-worn the footwear you will use on the day.
  • Check the weather forecast and bring waterproofs if there is a chance of rain.
  • Wear comfortable tracksuit bottoms, leggings or shorts to avoid getting too sweaty.
  • You should have received your walking top in the post. If it hasn’t arrived, we will have spares to give you on the day.
  • Remember a hat and sunblock if the heatwave keeps up
  • Bring any personal medications and your own supply of compeed blister plaster and vaseline to look after your feet.
  • consider bringing a battery pack to keep your phone charged along the way
  • Bring along your club colours and flags for photos
  • Water bottle and snacks
